THE LAST WEEK

MAY 3-7TH IS ARE LAST WEEK AT ARE SCHOOLS AND FOR THIS YEAR AND I WILL MISS BEING IN THIS CLASS GETING TO WORK WITH ALL KINDS OF KIDS AND PEOPLE AND I WONT HAVE THIS CLASS AFTHER THIS YEAR IS DONE . I WILL MISS IT A LOT AND I HOPE THE PEOPLE NET YEAR THAT TAKE THIS CLASS WILL LIKE IT AS WILL AND I HOPE THAT THEY WILL GET THE FUN OUT OF IT AS WILL AS I DID . I WILL REALLY MISS THIS CLASS AND ALL THE CLASS I GOT TO WORK WITH AND THE TEACHERS I GOT TO MEET AND ALL THE KIDS THAT I GO TO ME AND TEACHE AS I WAS IN THIS CLASS . I HOPE LI WILL KEEP ALL THAT I LOUND IN THIS CLASS FOR THE NEXT YARES AND YEARS UNTILL I BECOME A TEACHER . I WILL MISS HAVEING MISS.P AND MISS D AS MY TEACHER. THIS IS THE BEAST CLASS THAT CAME TO MEAT THE RIGHT TIME THAT I NEED IT TO COME TO ME AT.I HOPE THAT I BECAME THE BEAST TEACHER THAT THERE IN FOR THE NEXT PRESCHOOL KIDS THAT COME AND WHAT TO HAVE ME AS THERE TEACHER AND THAT THERE WILL HAVE FUN .

WHAT I DO IN THAT CLASS

I get to play with the kids and get to help them get there food to eat and I get to go out siad and play with them and then I get to see them do there song / book and then i come back . Thats all I do in thaqt class.

MY NEW CLASS

This year I went and work with the preschool at Santa Fe in Miss.Patty class room. This year was so much fun. I liked this year better then least year. Cuz i got to work with the grad that I want to teach we I am a teacher and the kids loved me and the teachers love me. I love this class this year and that all i have to say.

LAST DAY OF FTA FOR THIS YEAR

The 9th of this month was my last day for this class that I had and the class I had mad me a thank you book and they put there photo with it and it was so nice of them and on the 8 of this month I brunt the a cup of candy and thing for my last day thank you candy of thing and it was so much fun being in that class and have really good students to be with. I will really miss that class. I will be back some time to see them.

spelling bingo i did with my 5th gared class and they loved it and we played it 5 times and they got two know there spelling words and there were like 36 words that i had to read and the must know all of them and there were paiz for them that i got for them if they got bingo

Elementary Classroom Observation

The shadow teacher I had was Ms. B . The grade level she tachers is 5th grade. My first impression of Ms.B's classroom was that the classroom was inviting and fun to be in. How many Students did Ms.B have? She had 27 students in her class. Yes I introduced myself to the class. How much did I interact with the students? The first day I did not interact with the students as much as I did on day two. The subject being taught in the class on day one was the Reading Centers and on day two was reading from their reading books and then math. How did the teacher get the students involved with what was being taught? Ms. B asked questions and the students raised their hands and then answered the questions. Would I describe the teacher as inviting? Yes I would describe Ms. B as inviting because she loves her job and likes teaching.
         September 8, 2009 DAY ONE I got to read MISSION TO MARS with the students. Then I told them a little about me and gave them my Blog URL. I told the students about the blog and then I had to go get Miss. A.      September 9 , 2009 DAY TWO When I got there the students were reading from there reading books. Then they wrote their 3 main ideas and a summary. The phone rang two times in the classroom and I answered the phone both times saying "Hello Ms. B's room Samantha speaking." Then I had to go get two students from the IEP room so they could get their school picture taken. Then I made a seating chart so I can get to know all the students' names the next time I come in the class.

Mock Interview Day

Today was Mock Interview Day. I was kind of nervous. I was unsure what was going to be asked of me. I had Ms. M who works at PHS as an Assistant Principal. The interview went well. I answered her questions with complete and thoughtful responses.

Big Books With Coop Kids

The big book went well with the coop kids and it went well because I know all the kids names and they know me.The kids loved it. I think the big books with the coop kids went really good. MISS.S, MISS.M, MISS.K , MR.L, MISS. A, and MISS.E. were the kids we had when we did our big book . The lesson after we read the big book didn't go as we wanted it to go but the kids loved the lesson after the big book was read to them . Then the kids said with us T H E E N D THE END when the book was done.

MISS.E was so cute when we were reading the big book. She was saying she likes puppies. MR.L was a good kid when we were reading the book. He was helping MISS.E when it came to showing the teacher in the class what they had made. What a good kid MR.L was. Then the kids all gave us hugs and sat down with the teacher. MISS.E asked me and Ana where Mommy is at and that she wanted her mommy. I told her Mommy will be here soon but you have to wait MISS.E because Mommy is at work.

HIGH SCHOOL SHADOWING DAY

My first impression of the English classroom was inviting. Class 1 had 35 students, Class 2 had 24 students, and Class 3 had 36 students on A days and on B days 35 students. Fifth hour the teacher does not have a class. She has prep . I learned a lot like what Read 180 was and what to do in the Read 180. The teacher had help in her second hour class for Read 180. I learned about poetic devices, figurative language practice, and types of rhyme. I got to read the LIFE poem to the second hour class.

The teacher does not give out homework. The teacher does not have a discipline plan. Would I describe this teacher as inviting? Yes I would describe this teacher as inviting because the teacher likes her job and likes teaching her subject(s).

Future Teacher Academy 1.

Hi my name is Samantha Tiller .The kids call Me MISS. SAMANTHA. I am in a class at Peoria High School called Future Teachers Academy 1. I am going to be working at Santa Fe Elementary with a 5th Grade Teacher on Tuesdays and Wednesdays . All day shadowing day at the high school will be on August 28,2009 .
